We are proud to announce that we are now the stockists of Frog Bikes.
Frog Bikes is a small British company dedicated to making cycling fun for children. They believe that the lighter
the bike, the easier it is for children to learn to ride, and to enjoy
it more as they progress. Many children's bikes on the market weigh
nearly as much as the child!
So Frog set about re-designing the kids' bike, sourcing a light but strong
aluminium frame, and hand-picking components that offer a high
performance without compromising the weight.
The founders, Jerry and Shelley, are a couple who have two small children
of their own – both keen cyclists. So they know something about what
motivates children to get on their bikes! Since the first prototype
arrived, the bikes have always been robustly tested by the children and
all their friends.
Frog Bikes are designed for kids and their new range has a number of really great, lightweight bikes which come in a range of configurations and well though out colour schemes. Our particular favourite is the rigid forked Frog 48 and Frog 53. The Frog Range can be viewed on their website - products.
The Frog 60 MTB has front suspension forks with 50mm travel, 7 speed Shimano gears and the frame is beautifully crafted.
We have quite a few of these new bikes in stock but they are already selling like hot cakes. Come on in and see what all the fuss is about!
